Katelyn Chang

President

Hi! My name is Kate. I’m an incoming 4th year and will be serving as this year’s President. I started attending PACT meetings in my first year, but became a lot more involved in my second year since I really enjoyed participating in the high school committee and found the professional resources PACT offered to be really helpful in my pre-PA journey. PACT has become such an important community for me—it’s where I’ve grown, found support, and discovered how passionate I am about pursuing the PA path while being able to help others along theirs. In my free time, I enjoy going to museums, trying new food places, and going to concerts! :) I hold so much appreciation for this organization because PACT has always provided me with so many diverse opportunities, including really unique shadowing experiences, hands-on workshops, PA school tours, etc.

Hey everyone!! My name is Amanda, and I’m a 3rd year Human Bio major. I joined PACT my first year to learn more about PAs and to make connections with other people who had similar goals. In my free time, I loveee cafe hopping, eating out, & spending quality time with friends <3. One thing I love about PACT is that it has given me the opportunity to make connections with some of the most truly inspiring people, friends, and professionals alike.

Hey PACTers! I’m Ava, a third-year student pursuing a Biological Sciences major and a Health Informatics minor. I started as an intern my first year, became a co-social chair my second year, and am proud to serve as your external vice president for my last year of college! I'm highly involved in our social events and bigs & littles program, through which I've formed many long-term friendships. In my free time, I enjoy singing, cafe studying, and music festivals! Something I love about PACT is the clinical skills workshops, which offer hands-on, real-world experience and connections with students/physician assistants.

Maddie Lee

Co-Social Chair

Hi!! My name is Maddie Lee, and I’m a third-year Biological Sciences major! I found out about PACT at the beginning of winter quarter of my first year through social media. I was really drawn to all of the different kinds of events they had and I wanted to be able to obtain as many resources as I could as someone with not that much knowledge about the PA profession. In my free time, I really enjoy reading, thrifting, and hanging out with friends at a good cafe! :D  One thing I love about PACT is its ability to foster such a tight-knit and supportive pre-PA community at UCI <3

Eva Lay

Community Service Chair

Hello, my name is Eva Lay, and I am a second-year Public Health Science major at UC Irvine. I joined PACT at the beginning of my first year while exploring different healthcare professions, and I was quickly drawn to the physician assistant role. The supportive and welcoming environment that PACT fosters encouraged me to become more involved, and I am grateful for the opportunities it has provided to learn, grow, and connect with the pre-PA community. In my free time, I really enjoy arts and crafts, playing badminton (I'm sorta bad at it now), and hanging out with friends!!! One thing I love about PACT is that it’s a go-to for everything you need to know about becoming a PA. The bonus? The lifelong friendships you build along the way.

Khanhlam Doan

Co Outreach Chair

Hi my name is Khanhlam Doan and I am a second year Public Health Sciences major! Going into UCI, I was interested in going into the PA profession and as such, I joined PACT to learn more about it and gain access to resources. However, what truly drew me in is how the club truly feels like a close-knit community, where we share similar goals and collaborate together. In my spare time, I love to read, go thrifting, and collect trinkets! My favorite part of PACT is its variety of events, from the fun socials to the mentorships with PAs, that allow for a greater sense of community!
